How to order

To order a photo in glass, first of all, it is required to send us a full-size photo completing the feedback form or via the e-mail: fotosklo@ukr.net.

For a beautiful photo in glass, the original photo should be chosen in the best quality possible as the photographic quality conveys both small details and imperfections. Our managers will estimate the quality of the photo and will advise as to the most favourable size.

If the photo you are intending to have in glass is shot with good equipment or is even made in a studio – that’s perfect.

If this is an amateur photo or it is taken from documents – that’s not bad at all! Our designers will resize the photo in the required way, optimize the colours, clean up the artifacts and will send you a layout for approval. This is included in the photo glass price.

If there is additional handling of this photo changing the person clothes, cutting off hugging relatives and friends, drawing the background or photo parts which can’t be seen due to other objects, this is charged additionally, upon agreement with the designer.

Sometimes, it happens that the photo quality is too poor and with zooming, it becomes obscure and nothing can be improved with Photoshop. That is a pity… but there is a way out this time as well! It is possible to order a pencil or colourful portrait drawing performed by an artist. We will scan the portrait after that and will manufacture a photo picture of amazing beauty.

You can bring a photo on paper to our office in Kyiv or our affiliates in other cities. Also, you can scan it yourself at 600dpi and send it to us via email or using the photo uploading form available on our contact page.

Photo glass mounting

Photo glass mounting is a very important stage in the monument production.

Provided that the photo in glass is installed correctly, it will serve for many years to come.

Photo glass can be mounted in several ways:

• installation in the monument niche with silicone;
• fixation with external bolts that are available at our store;
• in case of air cross or arched monuments, photo glass is mounted in slots;
• if glass is small, it can be glued to the surface;
• if a monument is already installed in the cemetery and it is required to refresh it or add a portrait or inscription, it is possible to adjust it directly to the monument’s surface.
